A leaf canister is a must in any pool that has a problem with excessive leaves and debris and they have been designed to enhance the operation of the your pool cleaner. The extra large bag not only trap the leaves, twigs, hair, rocks and other materials before it gets to the skimmer basket but overtime it will pay for itself by helping your pump and motor last longer by preventing line clogs, which can be very expensive to fix. The clear plastic construction allows you to see if emptying is required before opening the canister and makes collecting leaves a snap.
